The Mapping Project is a Google map that has former locations and homes of notable MacLellans/McClellans in Scotland, Ulster Ireland, Nova Scotia, PEI, Canada and America.

The source that I started with is the book "McClellans in Galloway", some location are extinct, some are available on the 1843 - 1882, 6 inch map found in the link "Interactive Map".

If you would like to be an 'Editor' to this mapping project go to the "Trees Forum" and in the section "Clan MacLellan Mapping Project"  make a post in the "Mapping Editor" section, and, if you would like to make a 'Contribution' make your post in  the "Contributor" section. When making a contribution please site your source.

If you see a needed correction please post on the forum section "Mapping Correction and Suggestions" section , again site your source.

To open the menu  click the icon top left, next the words, "MacLellan/McClellan" to view the locations that have been tagged, remember this is a work in continual progress so check back frequently.
